A. Required Application Documents

1. Passport Identification Page

A clear, full-color copy of the identification page of your current and valid passport.

• Passport Validity Requirement for Fall 2027 Applicants: Your passport must remain valid until at least August 15, 2030.

※ If your passport expires before this date, please renew it before submitting your application.

Important: Please make sure that your passport information is accurate and up to date before completing your application. Changes to passport information may not be permitted after registration begins.

2. Color ID Photograph

A recent color identification photograph meeting the following requirements:

• Format: JPG, JPEG, or PNG
• File Size: ≤ 200 KB
• Resolution: ≥ 295 × 413 pixels
• The photograph should be clear, recent, and suitable for official identification purposes.

3. Academic Transcript

A complete copy of your high school academic transcript or equivalent academic record.

The transcript should include all courses completed and the corresponding grades or marks.

For applicants who are still completing high school, please submit the most recent transcript available at the time of application.

4. Proof of Graduation

Applicants who have graduated must submit a copy of their High School Diploma. Applicants who have not yet graduated may submit a pre-graduation certificate or official letter issued by their school, indicating their expected graduation date.

Applicants admitted based on a pre-graduation certificate must provide their final graduation certificate before enrollment, as required by the University.

5. Personal Statement

A personal statement of approximately 800 words.

Your statement should address, as appropriate:

• Your educational background and academic experience;
• Your motivation for applying to Wenzhou-Kean University;
• Your academic interests and/or intended field of study;
• Your relevant strengths, achievements, and qualifications;
• Your future academic or career goals.

Please ensure that the statement is your own work and accurately reflects your personal background and experience.

6. Certificate of No Criminal Record

A valid Certificate of No Criminal Record issued by the relevant government authority.

※ The certificate should generally be issued within six months prior to the application date.

※ Applicants should ensure that the certificate is valid and officially issued by the competent authority in their country or region.

B. Additional Documents for Specific Applicants

7. Guardianship Documents — Applicants Under 18

Applicants who will be under 18 years of age as of August 15, 2027 must have a legal guardian in China and submit the required guardianship documentation.

Required documents may include:

• Guardianship documentation;
• Identification documents of the guardian in China;
• Other supporting documents required by the University or relevant authorities.

Applicants under 18 should make appropriate arrangements for their guardianship before enrollment.

C. Optional Supporting Materials

8. Standardized Test Scores

Applicants may submit official standardized test or university entrance examination results for additional consideration, where applicable. Examples include: SAT, ACT, A-Level, AP, IB, and UEC.

Submission of standardized test scores is optional unless otherwise required by the applicant’s intended program or the University. For information on how standardized test scores are considered for scholarship eligibility, please refer to the Scholarship page.
