Freshmen Students Scholarship

1. Full Freshmen Scholarship: Tuition reduction of the first academic year.

2. Half Freshmen Scholarship: 50% Tuition reduction of the first academic year.

Students who excel in their first academic year may have their scholarship renewed for an additional year, with a maximum award equivalent to two years of tuition fees. For more information, please refer to the applicable continuation policy.

Deadline: Jun.30 for fall semester.

※Students must meet either the GPA requirement or one of the standardized English test requirements.

※The admissions process and scholarship assessment are carried out independently, and only admitted students are eligible for scholarship review.

Continuity Policy

a) Applicant must comply with laws and regulations and Student Code of Conduct and never receive any sanction of a warning or more severe.

b) Applicants should have outstanding academic performance in the first academic year, with an overall GPA of 3.5/4 or above,  without any course failure, and obtained at least ten credits.

c) Applicants must maintain a GPA of 3.0/4 or above in CCC courses in the first academic year.

d)The monetary award of the Freshman Scholarship cannot be combined with that of the Dean’s Scholarship; only the higher amount will be granted. However, this does not affect the recipient’s eligibility for the Dean’s Scholarship honor.

Notice:

1. Please submit the required application documents before the deadline. It takes 1 month after the deadline to process your application for the scholarship.
2. The equivalent of GPA or standardized English language tests is assessed by Wenzhou-Kean University Student Honor and Scholarship Review Committee.
